WELCOME
to
MCRW

Welcome on behalf of the MCRW President, Rachel
Woods
Welcome to the home site of the
McLennan County Republican Women (MCRW),
a Political Action Committee (PAC), that furthers the causes of
the Republican Party in McLennan County, Texas. Our
organization, first organized in 1955, holds the oldest
Republican Womens' charter in the great state of Texas. We are a
grassroots political arm of the
Texas Federation of Republican Women, which
represents Texas in a larger PAC, the
National
Federation of Republican Women, which is one of
the largest and most influential women's political organizations
in the country, with over 100,000 members and 1,825 local clubs
nationwide.
We are honored to call
President George W. Bush and our First Lady, Laura Bush,
McLennan County voters! The Western White House (President
Bush's Ranch) resides in the county of McLennan. First Lady,
Laura Bush, is an honorary member of MCRW!
We hope that you will
join us in serving our Grand ole' Party this election year! Our
work is cut out for us! Our top priority is to win elections in
2008, from the presidential seat on down to our own county
officials! We will accomplish our overall vision through three
major initiatives this year: (1) Recruiting and retaining
members, (2) Fundraising to support Republican candidates and
(3) Volunteering to work for Republican campaigns in our county.
Please join us in
tackling these goals! Remember that involved members are voting
members and above all else, we need to get Republicans out to
vote! So, we can all do our part by staying involved and by
recruiting new members. Come fellowship with other like-minded
Republicans and find a way to get involved this election season
through the MCRW! We hope to be a resource for you! We welcome
you and thank you for your service to McLennan County and to the
Republican Party!
Sincerely,
Rachel Woods, President
McLennan County Republican Women
